Parenting continued...

I loved watching all the videos on parenting. The one that taught me the most was this one about the daughter yelling at her mom. I didn’t think much of the mother yelling at her daughter in the beginning. When the situation was flipped and it was the daughter yelling at the mother, I realized how inappropriate the mother’s reaction was. Being the parent does not give you the right to be disrespectful of your children. I believe this falls into the category of unrighteous dominion as the scriptures teach us in Doctrine and Covenants 121. As parents you are accountable for how you go about teaching your children.
